Weissblatt - The Asura Incident is the first game in the Weissblatt series.

Story[edit | edit source]

The Asura Incident (event)[edit | edit source]

The game opens in Delfid, where Alex Felitas is tasked with tending the Enlightenment Crystal while being approached by Dr. Asura. Alex identifies Dr. Asura as a threat, but is unable to stop Dr. Asura from corrupting the Enlightenment Crystal with dark magic. In the encounter, the city of Delfid explodes and the Enlightenment Crystal splits into seven Chakra Shards.

Left without options, Alex casts a distress signal across the planet while falling towards an ambiguous location on Planet Weissblatt.

Meanwhile on Stella Mountain, Dr. Asura crashes into the unsuspecting trio of Kleene Cognara, Elise Cantor and Babel Memto as they are witnessing the destruction of Delfid from afar. When found out, Dr. Asura summons a squad of demons to send after the trio, but is interrupted by Alex' distress spell opening a portal. In response to being cornered, Kleene leads Elise and Babel into the portal.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

For the campaign, the player must first pick a character and is then placed into the Crystal Clockworld, where they can freely choose the order of Zones to play before returning to the Crystal Clockworld. Depending on the individual level, the player is either tasked to reach the end or find three crystal shards per level. Additionally the player may find Chakra Flowers, which serve as tokens to unlock bonus stages in which the player may obtain a Chakra Shard.

Most zones end with a boss fight against Dr. Asura. Once all bosses have been defeated, the player is directed towards a newly-unlocked Desert Pit Zone, from which the game progresses linearly with an ending based on whether the player has collected all Chakra Shards.

The game also features a multiplayer mode. Among typical platforming modes such as Co-Operative and Race, there are also multiple first person shooter modes, including (Team) Deathmatch, Tag, CTF and Hide & Seek.
