The Crystal Clockworld is an ethereal realm composed of crystalline, clockwork-like mechanisms. During The Asura Incident it serves as a planetary hub for Volunteers after being opened to the public by Alex Felitas upon the destruction of Delfid.

The Asura Incident

During the game, the Crystal Clockworld functions as a hub map, placing the player in amidst a void of clockwork. Small islands can be reached by walking, each of them representing an area of the planet (and game level) which can be reached through entering a portal.
